Proteus Industries was founded by Jon Heiner in 1978. Starting his career in the semiconductor equipment industry and recognizing the need for reliable flow switch, he developed Proteusâ first flow switch, model 100B, and acquired his first customer, Varian. Starting his flow technology venture in his parentsâ basement, he began to expand and started developing, manufacturing, and marketing a range of rugged yet sensitive liquid flow switches, meters, and sensors.
Since that time, Proteus Industries has developed into the leader in flow measurement innovation and manufactures a complete line of flow management devices at the highest specifications in the industry.

Proteus is also the U.S. distributor of Tofco flow management products, including flow meters for ultrapure liquids, flow controllers, and the Tofpine Manifold System. We pride ourselves on our ability to quickly provide custom engineering, including multi-sensor panels and manifold assemblies.

Custom designed for a customer to use in harsh (>1100GHz) EMI or RF environments. The 8000RFR has been laboratory tested up to an RF power of 10v/m to 10GHZ (maximum laboratory testing available). Effective design indicates that this device is capable for up to 1181 GHz.
