Introduction
Die Therm Engineering provides process solution to the thermally-related challenges that the die casting industry faces. Their user-friendly Die Therm software is a tool for calculating the appropriate cooling lines’ sizes, lengths, and depths and needed a reliable and networkable flow meter to control cooling injection into the cooling channels.

Solution
Die Therm’s complete thermal management solution provides the capability for comprehensive thermal control by optimizing cooling fluid flow rate and temperature at inlet and outlets. Proteus flow meters are used to maintain temperature uniformity throughout the die through control of the heat transfer between cooling fluid and surface of the die.
